Fashion is an addiction while color to me is exactly a crush, especially when it comes to royal blue, sapphire blue, or electric blue. Some argue that blue may have some subtle connections with sadness or pornography. From my own perspectives, however, in comparison with red, I'd unhesitatingly choose blue which definitely stands for a more superficial and profound passion other than the literal red.
In this look, I got the original inspiration from Tiffany Tsu (Lanecrawford Hongkong Buyer)'s combination——fusing all the blue pieces together with various fabrics and textures while adding a surprising detail to the whole look. Then it came the S/S 2013 menswear collection of Carlos Campos, which audaciously used the "one-color-head-to-toe" styling method to put all the looks together and eventually brought an impactive visual impression to all. Moreover, I've been strongly impressed by the Outta Space Shape Trend on the runways, thus, I select a drop shoulder coat made of high-class cashmere with an amazing blue color and a structure shape. For the accessories part, I just simply grab some delicate pieces  to light up the whole look.

Before ending this post, the beats of the year 2013 are right here approaching us at a invisible pace. I sincerely wish you guys all the best during the upcoming 2013.

Good Luck and Happy New Year!

Outfits:INEVITABLE PAST ~2012 looks collection~

"It was inevitable..." Brad Pitt's words toward CHANEL No.5 maybe the best description of my past 2012. It is 2012 that I comes to the awareness of my strong affection toward fashion which has been constantly bringing revolutionary changes and inspirations to me. It's the first year I started capture my little fashion journey via Lookbook.nu, Voguemate.com, and my blog using my Canon EOS 60D with SIGMA 50mm F1.4 lens.From the first shot til now, it can be a long or a extremely short time, but it is exactly an irreplaceable once-in-a-lifetime treasure to me, with which I will be holding for good.

As most of us agree that fashion is about making mistakes and keeping moving forward, my standpoints and pursuits of fashion has been varying as well as upgrading during the process of the so-called "fashion correction".To be continued, I don't even catch the sense of shame or tragedy when it comes to the realization of those "mistakes", for in order to make the right choices, one has to spare no efforts to make attempts and push his boundaries. No matter fabrics, textures, patterns, prints, silhouettes, colors,or proportions, the wise decision of a look largely relies on your diversity and innovation of editing, which requires those "mistaken moments" to some extent. Learning from those beautiful "mistakes", everyone is his own fashion guide.

Looking back at all my looks in 2012, it's apparent that my style of editing is varying within a wide range among Harajuku, More-is-more, color-splashing, or somewhat dramatic which has gradually become increasingly appropriately-layering and wearable. Moreover, I've been regarding my "mistaken moments" the most effective push power to turning my style from "literal words" to a more sophisticated "innermost expression".

I'd love to show my gratitude to all the ones that have always been staying by my side and providing me with critical suggestions.

For the year 2013, I'm willing to add more grunge or hermaphroditism elements to my looks by trying new sorts of fabrics and developing the ways of layering.I know it's just a tiny brand new beginning of me and I think I've been ready to take on the upcoming challenges.

Denim pieces are among the most versatile ones — they’re comfortable, flattering and can go from day to night in a second, making them an irreplaceable wardrobe staple. Moreover, having flashbacks of bad ’80s double-denim faux pas, it seems that double denim has been reinvented in clean, fresh and modern ways——not just go well on East London hipsters. It doesn’t have to be ordinary jeans and a matching jacket, either – chambray shirts, cut-off jeans, layerings of different denim shades and plays on silhouettes. Double denim for winter is a risk but one that can pay off.

For Fall/Winter 1992, Gianni Versace presented his Bondage collection, which has been so far regarded as the sexiest garments imaginable as worn on the runway by the greatest of supermodels.Without hesitation, the collection strongly impresses me and inspires me to put together a new look which is also added drapes, futurism, and structure elements.

For the major long black shirt, I wanted it to be a contrasting textures combination that seemed ethereal but also structure. Thus, I selected twill spandex fabric as the main structure, asymmetrically blocking patent leather, and Jamaica knit with swallow gird patterns. The patent leather part keeps the structure of the garment, while the knit and the spandex fabric enable it to be soft and ethereal.

For the details, I chose a classic golden Versace button as the collar button. Moreover, in order to maintain the wholeness of the whole garment, all the buttons were made invisible snaps, while surprisingly with asymmetric elements.

It's always too late when the fall in the tropical comes.
But, when it arrives, the pace of life has been accelerated,
with a lot to learn, quite a few to practice.
I think I'm well prepared. ^ ^

Oscar Wilde onced said,“You can never be overdressed or overeducated.”In most circumstance, this quote is a basic rule for a majority of people to choose their outfits.
One can't deny that less-is-more chic has probably been advanced of any other styles. Back to reality, however, not everyone are like Karlie Kloss with an ideal stature, nor few of us are likely to become Kate Moss. When it comes to ones who don't have a perfect stature or even out of physical shape, it seems much wiser for them to attempt the "More-is-more" style. Yu Masui,Anna dello Russo,Bryan Boy..it's that the sight around only gathers on you while you are expressing YOURSELF instead of wearing fashion. Oversize, patterns-on-patterns, literariness....these are the words to describe the overconfident you.

It's all 'bout enthusiasm when receiving the 3.1 Phillip Lim "Kiss V" inspired sweater since it's been an absolute attraction to me at the first sight, and without hesitation being out of stock almost everywhere at present!

The sweater is from 3.1 Phillip Lim Pre-fall 2012 "Neo-noir comics" collection, which featured jackets, t-shirts, and accessories with recognizable comic faces by Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol.  Lim nicely shifted this literal interpretation into a very wearable collection of separates in black, white, and red with some mustard accent colors that don’t take ‘comic’ too seriously.

works by Roy Lichtenstein

In this look, I try a pattern-on-pattern way to mix the those different elements together, conveying a retro sporty sense as well as interesting thought-provoking chic.I'm also gonna tell you guys that I got the inspiration of this look from Susie Lau (from Style Bubble) and Sandra Hagelstam (from 5 inch and up ,which has been my favs in the recent days)

Moreover, the easy-to-match transparent clutch I'm holding is available in my online shop, with a special thanks price of ¥129 (approx. $20.66)

Style Code: Wear Knit Forever!

3.MICHAEL BASTIAN £500
5. 3.1 PHILLIP LIM Crying Girl Jumper SOLD OUT
7. Jason Wu Stripe Cotton Knit Jumper $899
10.Kenzo WINDOW-CHECK SWEATER $655
17. Kenzo Tiger Embroidery Sweater SOLD OUT

It's been quite clear that this is a SUPERXXLARGE OUTTA SPACIOUS winter for the time being.Fashion brands like Balenciage, ACNE,Stella McCartney, Celine, Comme des Garçons have swarmed to introduce their surrealistically oversize pieces as if it goes like "the bigger, the fitter."

From another aspect, however, not everyone has the courage or mental aura to rein those dramatic fashion dream. Therefore, as the progressive appearance of the all-sold-out KENZO Tiger Embroidery Sweaters and 3.1 Phillips Lim Ka-Pow Sweaters have taken over the fashion months' street snaps, we are pleasant to see a new developing style trend——wearing KNITWEARS !

Consisting of window-checks, stripes, pop art, or amusing  patterns. Rolled keeping warm, practicality, effortless chic, and unparalleled comfortability in one, knitwears provide us with idiosyncratic mood for wearing as well as body shape modification, which caters to the growing trend of minimalism.

As for most people with limited budget, choosing a qualified and suitable knitwear seems by means more than that of consuming a dog prints tee from Givenchy. To some extent, even if a J.W. Anderson for Topshop Sweater maintains its value more than an expensive ready-to-wear like the dog prints tee in season.

Maison Martin Margiela with H&M collection Lookbook

The collection is all about the history of Margiela: All of the items are updated versions of Margiela’s unforgettable moments. The collection is available from November 15th and it sure does look good to me! One of the best collaboration collections.

Seeing the clothes, TianCouture posted, “Wow, hands down the best, and most interesting, H&M collection to date...”

Scott, a fan of Maison Martin Margiela under Margiela himself, had a lot to say. “I like that long patchwork silk dress (interpreted from one of my favorite collections, Spring 1992, in which he recycled silk head scarves from various periods) and one of Margiela's signature men's pieces, that waistcoat made of belts… Who is going to buy this?” he wondered. “It seems a little more niche and esoteric in spirit than the typical garb people gravitate toward at H&M. I mean, for the devoted original Margiela fans who never got to experience the earliest of his work, this will give a piece of that, if just in spirit. But I'll be curious if it ultimately creates the same kind of frenzy Comme des Garcons and the like have. But this kind of ticks me off though,” he continued. “This is NOTHING like what we're getting in any of the mainlines and it just questions if they can utilize the old spirit of Margiela in this context, why the flipping hell can they not bring a bit of that back into the primary maison?”

Why indeed? At least we have H&M to help resurrect that spirit for the moment.

Street Style: girls in RED

Red can symbolize many things; from blood, to love, to infatuation.  Basically red symbolizes strong emotions, or things of strong emotions rather than intellectual ideas.  For example, red can symbolize excitement, energy, speed, strength, danger, passion, and aggression.

According to Henry Dreyfus, it is popularly felt that red, the color of blood and fire, represents life and vitality. Red also signifies the color of the sun: a symbol of energy, radiating its vitalizing life-force into human beings.

Street Style: COMME on Des Garçons!

Those outta spacious pieces from the Fall/Winter 2012 collections are surly still fresh in our mind! Especially, the conceptually incredible collection of Comme Des Garçons. To think from a different angle, however, there was a time when I was wondering who was gonna wear those cutout paper-dolliness pieces on the streets?! You may say "It must be Lady GaGa of course!" The fact just goes like this, but not entirely right! As to my astonishment, the first celebrity to wear the pieces from the collections was Taylor Tomasi Hill at NY Fashion Week, choosing a blue graphic parse shorts matching with a easy chic shirt, which completely changed my perspectives on the collection—— dramatic pieces are not only dramatic but also can be so effortless as well! Then it came to more fashionistas like Anna Dello Russo, Hanne Gaby Odiele, and Michelle Elie wearing the outfits from the collection with their distinct style, COMME on Des Garçons!
